UK-based | Flexible/remote working | National travel

We’re recruiting for an established technology infrastructure business delivering physical infrastructure and managed services to major enterprise customers across the UK and Europe.

This is a consultative new-business role covering structured cabling, fibre, networking, Wi-Fi, data-centre infrastructure and associated Smart Hands and managed services.

You’ll also inherit a portfolio of revenue-generating accounts to develop, while also targeting new customers across sectors such as financial services, media, retail, logistics, warehousing and manufacturing.

The role will involve:

  • Winning new enterprise customers and developing existing accounts
  • Building relationships with senior, technical and operational stakeholders
  • Selling physical infrastructure projects and associated services
  • Identifying customer challenges and shaping suitable solutions
  • Working with technical specialists to prepare proposals
  • Managing opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award
  • Retaining and growing the customers you personally win

You are probably currently working for a structured cabling or fibre manufacturer, distributor, contractor, infrastructure integrator or network-services provider.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Confident and credible in face-to-face customer meetings
  • Experienced in generating new business and developing a pipeline
  • Commercially driven, but consultative in approach
  • Able to recognise wider opportunities within customer accounts
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously

What’s on offer:

  • £50,000–£70,000 basic salary
  • Approximately £25,000–£30,000 first-year commission (3 years - potential to double salary)
  • Existing accounts providing an initial earning platform
  • Additional incentives for new customers and managed-service wins
  • Strong longer-term earning potential
  • Support from experienced technical and solution specialists

Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK but we would be very interested in speaking with infrastructure sales professionals based around Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool or Birmingham area.
