A global petrochemical manufacturer is looking to hire a Senior Sales Representative to support growth across its domestic polymers and polyolefins business in New Jersey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in plastics, polymers, polyolefins, resins, or chemicals sales who is looking to step into a role with more ownership, a broader commercial remit, and the chance to grow a regional territory.
This Senior Sales Representative job in New Jersey offers a mix of account management and new business development, working with domestic customers across the region while supporting commercial growth within an established global manufacturer.
What you’ll be doing
As the Senior Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of domestic accounts while identifying new business opportunities across the region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing existing domestic customer accounts
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities across the assigned territory
- Building strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers
- Supporting pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contracts
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements
- Working closely with internal teams across technical, marketing, and operations
- Supporting customers with product queries and ongoing account development
- Contributing to regional sales growth across the polymers and polyolefins market
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this Senior Sales Representative role, you should have:
- Previous B2B sales or account management experience
- A background within plastics, polymers, polyolefins, resins, chemicals, or a related industry
- Experience working with distributors, manufacturing customers, or industrial buyers
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- The ability to manage multiple customer accounts while also developing new business
- A proactive and driven approach, with the confidence to take ownership of a regional territory
- A desire to step into a role with more responsibility and long-term progression
