Export Sales Representative - New Jersey (Remote) - Petrochemical / Plastics Manufacturer - $80,000 – $104,000 + benefits (negotiable)

A well-established international manufacturing business is looking to hire an Export Sales Representative to support growth across its polyolefins / plastics division.

You’ll be responsible for growing export sales, developing new business opportunities, and managing existing customer accounts across international markets.

This role would suit someone with experience in petrochemicals, plastics, polymers, resins, or a related technical / industrial sales environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and growing export sales across assigned accounts and territories
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Negotiating commercial terms, contracts, and sales agreements
• Assisting with customer service issues, payment discrepancies, and commercial follow-up
• Helping manage non-prime inventory sales activity
• Monitoring and supporting terminal / bonded warehouse inventory and sales activity

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a related sales, account management, export sales, or business development role
• Experience within petrochemicals, plastics, polymers, chemicals, or industrial manufacturing
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage pricing, negotiations, and customer relationships
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal English
• Comfortable working with data, sales reporting, and market trends
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Background in chemical engineering, business, or a related field would be advantageous
