Sales Manager – Tabletop/Tableware – London – Up to £90k basic plus commission/bonus

We’re partnering with a leading provider of premium tabletop and tableware products. Known for high-quality, stylish solutions, they provide solutions to the hospitality sector. As they grow, they are now looking for a Sales Manager to lead their sales team while actively contributing to sales efforts.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this Player/Manager role will allow you to work towards achieving your own sales targets while managing a sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Develop Team: Manage a small sales team, providing guidance and support to hit targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Identify new opportunities to drive growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
  • Sales Reporting: Monitor team performance and report on progress, providing insights to the CEO on key opportunities and challenges.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine the sales process, ensuring efficiency from lead generation through to closing.
  • Recruitment & Team Growth: Help recruit and onboard new sales team members, ensuring strong team performance.
  • Travel: Visit clients regularly

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, ideally in tabletop, tableware, or similar industries.
  • Strong ability to manage and develop sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Experience building and maintaining client relationships and managing key accounts.
  • Solid understanding of sales strategy, performance metrics, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
