Business Development Executive
Business Development Executive – Technical Sales – Bourne End – Up to £50k Basic + £60k OTE
Our client is a well-established UK-based manufacturer and distributor specialising in high-performance technology products, with an international client base.
The purpose of this role is to drive sales growth through both new business acquisition and existing client development. The role will be approximately 90% telephone-based, with some face-to-face client visits and attendance at trade shows.

Your Responsibilities
- Drive new sales across the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Industrial sectors – approx. 75% of the role
- Manage a small portfolio of existing customers on behalf of other sales staff, with some cross-selling – approx. 25% of the role
- Opportunity to attend international trade shows and visit client sites overseas
About You
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role
- Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
- A keen eye for detail
- Degree-educated in a scientific subject (ideally, due to the nature of the client base)
- Highly numerate, with strong MS Office skills
- A second language would be an advantage
