Area Sales Representative – Decorative Interiors
Location: Field based - Kent, Sussex, Surrey
Salary: 36k to £38k basic (negotiable DOE) + bonus + car
An international interiors brand is expanding its presence across the South of England and is looking for a new Area Sales Representative to drive growth across Kent, Sussex, and Surrey. This role is being advertised by an employment agency on behalf of our client, an international interiors company.
If you’re passionate about building materials or interior design, love working in the field, and know how to win new business, this could be a great opportunity.
You’ll be joining a company with over 55 international markets and an existing UK sales team. This role focuses on developing new accounts and nurturing relationships across retail, distribution, and contractor channels.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, home-based field sales role with autonomy over your schedule.

Typical responsibilities will include:

Driving new business across B2B and B2C channels in your region

Selling decorative cladding, skirting, flooring, and interior wall products

Developing retail and distribution networks (DIY stores, wholesalers, independent shops)

Managing and growing an existing customer base

Working towards clear sales targets with full support from HQ

Reporting on pipeline activity and market insights
Who are we looking for?

Experience in field sales
-
Background in interiors, building materials, or a technical product
-
Proven track record in new business and client relationship development

Goal-oriented with strong negotiation and closing skills
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Comfortable working independently across a regional patch
-
Full UK driving licence
