Sales Director – Workforce Management Solutions – Europe/International
£80k (negotiable) + extensive benefits package and excellent bonus structure
Our client is seeking an accomplished Sales Director to manage their London based sales/account management team, while driving the growth and expansion of key client relationships across Europe. Focusing on workforce solutions, specifically regarding worker classification, compliance, and umbrella company services, you will lead a talented team, shape the sales strategy, and make a direct impact on the company’s growth in key international markets. Industry experience is "nice to have" but not essential.
Reporting directly to the Global Managing Director, the Director of Sales will play a critical role in extending the company’s footprint in vital international markets. Key Responsibilities of The Sales Director:
- Execute sales strategies for Europe and other international regions
- Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for regional sales teams.
- Lead, manage, and motivate sales teams
- Foster a high-performance culture by implementing best practices in sales operations, training, and team development.
- Drive collaboration between the sales team and other departments, including Marketing, Operations and Contractor/Employee Experience, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives, related to worker classification and umbrella company services.
- Take ownership of the top key client accounts, ensuring strategic oversight and relationship management to maintain and grow these critical relationships.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services to key accounts
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing reports/insights to SLT
- Implement strategies to improve sales conversion rates and overall revenue performance.
- Utilize market intelligence to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with the operational teams to ensure smooth post-sales transitions/client satisfaction
- Represent the company at industry events etc
Who/what are we looking for?
- Degree educated, ideally Business, Marketing or related subject – MBA/Advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive and demonstrable sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing sales teams and driving revenue growth internationally.
- Experience in workforce management solutions, recruitment or a similar B2B environment is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience managing key client accounts and driving long-term relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
