Business Development Manager - £25k-£35k/OTE £50k-£60k - Hybrid working (office/home)

A great opportunity to join a thriving global telecoms company based in Chepstow as a Business Development Manager.    The main function of this role is to drive business development, generating new opportunities and building relationships with existing customers.

Job role of the Business Development Manager:

  • Open new opportunities
  • Build a pipeline of decision-maker contacts, hunting down new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Maintain and develop a relationship with decision-makers within customer base to gain trust and transparency for ongoing and future opportunities
  • Ensure a high level of customer service
  • Provide accurate detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts and ensure the information on CRM is tidy and up to date

Skills/attributes required for the Business Development Manager role:

  • Have a proven track record in identifying, opening and growing new accounts
  • Be commercially astute and able to quickly identify client challenges and possible solutions
  • Have business-to-business sales experience
  • Need proof of over-achievement of set targets
  • Have the ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Additional language skills (German highly desirable) would be a bonus but not essential
